About iPickPet

Evidence-first help for reading pet-food labels.

iPickPet helps dog and cat owners inspect recorded label facts, ingredient context, source references, and product tradeoffs without turning uncertainty into a promise.

Purpose

Clearer product decisions

Compare recorded facts before relying on packaging language.

Sources

Inspect the provenance

Product and reference pages link supporting sources when available.

Uncertainty

Missing stays missing

Unverified values are not silently filled or guessed.

Safety

Decision support only

iPickPet does not diagnose conditions or replace veterinary care.

We start with product identity, ingredient lists, guaranteed analysis, calories, directions, and other facts available from labels or source pages.
We keep label facts, manufacturer wording, evidence summaries, and iPickPet's own heuristic interpretation separate.
We show source links and methodology boundaries so readers can inspect what supports a statement and where confidence is limited.

What you can do on iPickPet

Move from a broad question to an inspectable shortlist. The goal is not to promise an outcome, but to make product identity, label differences, source coverage, and uncertainty easier to see.

Explainable methods

Eligible food scores are deterministic heuristics with visible limits. They are not review ratings, safety grades, or universal recommendations.

Evidence-aware, not evidence-inventing

When the evidence behind a statement is limited, the platform should say so instead of translating uncertainty into certainty.

Corrections matter

Labels and formulas can change. If a recorded value no longer matches its source, the correction path belongs on the Contact page.
