Terms of use
Updated November 2, 2026
iPickPet is free to read. By using it, you accept these terms.
Information, not veterinary advice
iPickPet gives general information about pet products. It doesn’t know your pet and doesn’t replace a veterinarian. Ask your veterinarian before changing your pet’s food, supplements or care, and straight away if your pet seems unwell.
Where the facts come from
Facts are copied word for word from each maker’s own label or page, with a link and the date we last checked. A fact the source doesn’t state is shown as not available. Figures such as dry matter and carbohydrate estimates are worked out by the website and marked as calculations. See how we work.
Labels, prices and policies change, and we can make mistakes, so check the package or the policy documents before you buy or rely on something.
Provided as is
The site and its data are provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. We don’t promise they’re complete, correct, up to date or always available. As far as the law allows, iPickPet isn’t liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on what it says. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
Using our data and code
The database is open data under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0, and the website’s code is under the MIT license. See open data and API for how to get the data. Please keep automated requests to a gentle pace.
Product photos, logos and brand names belong to their owners. They aren’t part of the open data, and reusing them needs the owner’s permission.
Shops, insurers and other sites
Links to shops, insurers, quote sites and app stores can earn iPickPet a commission. They’re labelled, and they never change a fact or the order of a list. What you buy or sign up for there is between you and that company, on its terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
