Potassium Citrate
A salt that supplies potassium and makes urine less acidic.
Potassium citrate supplies potassium, and citrate makes urine less acidic. It’s used for that effect in some foods designed around urinary health, and it also regulates acidity in the food itself.
Which way urine should lean depends on the kind of crystal or stone involved, so this isn’t a matter for guesswork. If your pet has urinary problems, ask your veterinarian.
