Mineral
Magnesium Sulfate
Sources of magnesium, needed for bones, muscles and nerves.
Magnesium works with calcium in bone, and it’s needed for muscles, nerves and hundreds of enzymes. Magnesium sulfate and magnesium oxide are the usual added forms, and most foods contain some naturally too.
Magnesium is also part of struvite, a type of crystal in urine, which is why it’s discussed for cats prone to urinary problems. Urine acidity and water intake matter as much as the mineral. For a cat with urinary trouble, ask your veterinarian.
Also written as: Magnesium Oxide, Magnesium Proteinate, Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate.
