Zinc Sulfate
Common inorganic sources of zinc, a mineral needed for skin, coat and immunity.
Zinc sulfate and zinc oxide are simple forms of zinc, often used alongside zinc proteinate. Zinc is needed for skin and coat, wound healing and immune function. Zinc oxide is generally the less well absorbed of the two.
Both are recognized as safe in animal feed when used at normal levels. Extra zinc isn’t something to add on your own: too much interferes with copper, and swallowing products with a lot of it can poison a pet.
