Chicken Broth
Liquid from cooking meat or fish, used to mix and flavour wet foods.
Broth is the liquid from simmering meat, bones or fish. In a wet food it does the same job as water, so the food can be mixed and canned, and it adds flavour and a little protein.
Because the list runs by weight, a broth often comes first or second. That says little about nutrition: it’s mostly water. To compare foods, use the figures on a dry matter basis, which iPickPet works out on each product.
